DogSense                                                  Grace & Rocky,

                                                                                                                  my first trainees

DogSense began as an idea to provide DiabeticAlert Dogs at an affordable price to families needing help dealing with the trials of diabetes.  The need for various types of service dogs, and the love of working with people and their dogs led me to expand on that original idea.

I have received certification as a dog trainer through Animal Behavior College's dog trainer program, and have been an apprentice under expert dog trainer Dee Bogetti, of Richmond, VA.  (For more information about Dee Bogetti, please visit her website at www.deethedogtrainer.com.)

I work with people who want to find a dog and/or train the dog they have to become a service dog.  I help people whose pet dogs have behavior issues, by going into their homes and giving advice and instructions. I volunteer as a teacher of puppy classes at Quad Cities Dog Obedience Club, in Milan, IL.

Believing that there is so much more to learn, I attend seminars, workshops, and continually read books and articles, watch DVDs, and take online courses to stay abreast of current positive reinforcement training methods and dog behavior studies.

Please contact me if you are having any behavior problems with your pet dog(s), or would like help obtaining and/or training a service dog.

Thank you for visiting DogSense!
